Title: It’s a solid choice for a new phone
Review: It takes a while to charge for the first time. I paid attention to the instructions about the first few charging cycles. The phone is fantastic so far. The screen colors are stunningly vibrant and I’m not surprised because that’s why I chose this phone. All android phones come with a pesky app that randomly downloads new apps without your consent. Once you locate and disable it things are no longer so weird. The battery lasts a long time and recharges reasonably quickly. Updating apps used to take forever but now it happens fast. On my old phone I had to use a third party app to force stop unused apps in order to get any responsiveness. I still use that app but it’s no longer urgent. The memory size is phenomenal. The button doesn’t always recognize my fingerprint right away and can sometimes take quite a number of tries but I’ve never used such feature before so it’s not a big deal to me. I’m really glad I upgraded.

Title: This Ain’t it Folks
Review: I’ll start by saying that I have been and still am a fan of BLU devices, and I’m fully familiar and comfortable with setting up my own unlocked phone with my carrier; but this one tested my patience more than any before.First impressions were decent, the phone was easy to set up and didn’t have the issues that my previous device was starting to show from age. I was happy that the phone came with all the required accessories plus an actually decent phone case that I didn’t immediately feel the need to replace; but from almost day one, the phone had issues. For being one of the two flagship models released in 2024 by BLU, this phone acted like it was one of the cheap, budget models. From the time I first set it up, it had constant lag and latency. Apps would take several seconds to load or even open. Opera browser in particular, which I’ve never had any issues with on any other devices, from the very begining would regularly completely freeze up and force me to close out of the app in order to get it going again.Within the first two weeks of setting up the phone I had multiple instances of it completely locking up forcing me to hard-reboot it, then when it started up it would lock up AGAIN while loading the Home screen interface. Eventually this would stop, but I would have to go through about half an hour of hard rebooting and praying that it wouldn’t freeze up this time. This issue persisted in various forms, most recent being the phone locking up and then fully crashing at random intervals, could be during a phone call, could be in the middle of using the browser or another app, there was no consistency or clear cause/effect. Sometimes the device would work normally, though still with lag, for couple weeks or more. Other times it would have issues freezing up or crashing multiple days in a row.An annoying quirk I noticed after spending some time with this device, is that using the lock button to lock the screen takes multiple presses if you have a fingerprint set up, because it will scan your finger and re-unlock the phone when you press the Lock button. Another weird issue I started having is whenever I would get a call, it would take approximately 10 seconds and several rings for the phone to actually show me the notification that I was getting the call, and allow me to answer or decline it. Sometimes this took so long that I actually missed the call because the phone never actually showed me the notification, it just rang and rang until it went to voicemail. Small things like that really start to add up when the device is as fundamentally unreliable as this one was. I’m not sure if my issues were purely from something simple like a bad device, but with how many issues I had I almost suspect that there was something fundamentally wrong with the firmware, with how many issues and bugs I experienced in the less than 6 months I spent with it.I finally had enough and ordered the K50, which I’d been debating about before I bought this one; I now thing I should’ve just gone with the K50 from the start. Hopefully that one has less issues. (It already runs much more smoothly with almost no lag after the initial setup)Sadly for the first time I can’t recommend a BLU device; something or several things seem to have been overlooked when this device was shipped, and it makes for a miserable user experience. Get something else.

Title: Great phone for the price!
Review: The verdict is finally in!!I bought the BLU G84 a few months ago and I’ve been really impressed with it. The performance is smooth, it handles all my apps without slowing down, and the screen is big and clear. The battery easily lasts all day, and it charges up pretty fast. I also like the design – it looks and feels premium. The camera takes good photos in decent lighting, and the front camera is clear enough for video calls and selfies. The sound quality is also solid – loud and clear whether I’m on a call or playing music. For the price, this phone is a great deal. No regrets at all.

Title: very nice but
Review: i bought a samsung tablet for portable illustration, but realized too late that it didnt come with flash for the camera. my current personal phones camera is smashed.i basically bought this just to use as a camera.the camera is very nice, autofocus works well, great dark visibility.the Macro setting isnt very good, the normal camera takes a better focused closeup photo. you cannot force focus in the macro setting at all.i also noticed there is no music player on the phone, ive noticed no modern phones ive bought have music players anymore, but my original 8 year old phone DID come with a music player.i dont like the infinity dot front camera because it obscures full screen videos/photos, but you cant find any modern phone without it or with an unobscured framed screen anymore. again, my 8 year old phone DID have an unobscured screen (though its cracked now…).decent for the price & im happy with the camera.definitely comparable or better camera to an iphone or android.Edit: well, twist of fate, this is now my main personal phone. My old j7 finally crapped out & turns out the tcl 10l I was saving to convert to my main- isn’t actually fully compatible with metrobytmobile.I tested this phone & I get 5g signal & perfect function.A con I’ve found is that there isn’t really much peripherals for this thing in the market. Like cases & screen protectors etc. I’d like to see some more options there.

Title: Very Disappointing
Review: I’ve been using BLU phones for over a decade – they are usually a solid choice for the value minded. This unit, however, is lacking and very disappointing. Peripheral features such as the fingerprint scanner are almost always non functioning. The camera is lackluster at best. The processer struggles, and worst of all, the phone features 4G network ONLY. You read that right, in 2025 there is a non 5G smartphone being marketed. This is the most disappointing phone from BLU that I’ve ever purchased, and the subpar quality has been noted.

Title: It only works with T-Mobile sim cards
Review: I like the phone, but the screen does not function properly. Sometimes it unlocks without using my pin. The finger print option does not work. It’s storage and other things make an ok phone

Review: Super great phone for the price. I go through phones at a shameful pace. This one I’ve had for a while now and it’s been holding up great.
