Title: Amazing!
Review: I first ordered this unit to assist my T-mobile service at my home, which used to be very good on LTE, but when they switched to 5G, I had dead spots in my house, which is the opposite of what 5G was supposed to do. Setup was extremely easy and the device is very well made. The app is awesome. This single handidly removed the dead spots that I was observicng so much so that I recently switched to AT&T and repurposed this for that and increased coverage on their network too. The saying “You get what you pay for” is 100% true with this unit, as the lesser priced units could not do what this one can.

Title: No change in signal strength.
Review: Not sure why but the unit I received did not boost cell signal at all. Tried it with extending cables and without. Also tried the different power supplies. The outside and inside antennas where separated properly and the unit was registered with my carrier. There was no change in signal at -109db on 4G Verizon even after waiting 15 minutes and all signal lights on the booster were green for all bands.

Title: Booster me this…Booster me that.
Review: The APlusBooster Cell Phone Booster for RV with Real Time Monitoring Data System, Upgraded Omni-Directional Antenna, RV Cell Phone Signal Booster Boost 5G 4G LTE Support All U.S. Carriers, A super fantastic addition. I installed this on my work truck. I was able to get the minimum vertical and horizontal requirements needed between the interior and external antennas. All though this booster is on the expensive side, and compared to other systems, the APlusBooster is competitively priced. However, I don’t know how the other systems performs as I do now with the APlusBooster. All I can report, that the APlusBooster does performs and it performs extremely well.Just know that boosters work as it improves signals that are weak. In areas that are signals are great or full bars, there will be not improvements, and in actuality, in areas where the signals are strong the booster essential closes and reopens until leaving the area the tower its communiticatoing with. The build quality is solid. Great and well done. All components are durable and sturdy. This kit arrives with all essential parts and hardware needed, without needing a special trip to the store. However build conditions will be your own and may require some customization in regard to mounting hardware.Essential the installation is pretty straightforward. The instructions were fair and easy to understand. Trouble shooting is available if an issue arises, and resolutions are offered. . The hardest part and most time consuming was routing of the cables and power cord. The challenges faced was to keeping the install clean and organized. The unit powers up with reliability and satisfyingly. The booster unit is relatively convenient and compact. The display is bright and made for an easy read and monitoring the signals strengths of the available bands your phone carrier uses. The phone automatically utilizes the band your phone uses and essentially ignores the other bands. My Verizon phone Utilizes Band 66 (Band 4).Overall a really good quality cell booster system. Highly recommended. Very useful and worth a consideration if you are looking for a cell phone booster with an omnidirectional antenna for Mobile utilization.

Title: Nice booster
Review: I installed this on my boat to get better throughput on my internet setup. Installation instructions were clear and useful. Installation itself will depend on what obstacles you need to overcome. I had a bit of difficulty fishing the wire from my boat’s hardtop down through the cockpit and into the cabin, but that is totally dependent on your situation.I noticed improved download speeds from my router, which is helpful for my cameras when I am remotely monitoring the boat. I don’t use it for cell phone reception, so I can’t comment on that, but my internet router is via cell signal and it did help improve the reception and subsequently my up/download speeds.Overall it has been very useful!

Title: Solid unit for the road
Review: it’s pretty solid! I’m usually skeptical about signal boosters, but this one’s been a game-changer for staying connected on the road. Streaming’s way smoother, even in sketchy signal zones. The real-time monitoring is a cool touch—I can check how it’s performing right from my phone, which feels like a little tech flex. Only downside is it’s not cheap, but if you’re RVing in remote spots a lot, it’s worth it. Totally recommend!

Title: get a we-boost
Review: Ordered this due to high reviews. 1. antenna and mount cheaply built. first trip the extension came apart and antenna fell pulling cheap wire end off rf cable. 2. fixed then antenna fell off on return trip and never found. Antennas were installed per instructions No matter how far apart you get inside and outside antenna the unit states oscillation. I saw no increase in signal strength using. Returned and got a we-boost overland. 1000% better was able to stream movies on TV via personal hotspot in an area I couldn’t even make calls. Don’t waste your money get a WE-Boost.

Title: reaching the unreachable
Review: Our family camps a lot, sometimes off grid, sometimes at resorts or campgrounds. We live in the PNW so tree cover & mountain territory significantly reduces our ability to get a signal. While it is nice to be outdoors and not be connected to the world of tech. This has came into handy when we’ve gone camping in places that get very little reception, and we have people meeting up with us. Sometimes they need to get a hold of us to find our off grid location. It’s also great because my daughter is in online school, and sometimes while we’re on a trip I need to use my phone as a mobile hotspot. This has gotten me a way better signal for her to be able to connect to her school’s portal and complete the work.

Review: I work in the oilfiled and because of this I’m in a lot of areas that do not have great cell service. I have used Wilson, WeBoost and Smoothtalker in the past with the Smoothtalker being my favorite. However those have all been hard mounted into my pickup and I wanted to build a mobile booster that I could transfer easily from one unit to another. This is where the APlusBoost cell booster comes in.To do what I had in mind I purchased a magnetic mount for the antenna as they only include a solid/screw on mount, I then installed the unit in a small Pelican case and next I purchased a cord that could power the unit through a USB or power connection. The unit itself is very compact which made it very easy to install inside a pelican case, the antenna is a high grade 5G antenna that appears to be working very well and the signal repeater puts out a solid connection that can boost multiple devices at once.So why the 4 stars you may ask, well for the $699.00 price tag I think they should have atleast included a magnetic mount for the unit, many of the big name brand boosters do when you get to this price point and I have not had a lot of time to test it yet so I dont feel I can give it a perfect 5 stars until I have more time with it but for what I built it for it has performed flawlessly. It’s been boosting my signal in areas that I have had little cell service and in the end that really all I want it to do.At this point in time I have no issue recommending the APlusBoost 5G/4G cell booster. If for some reason it begins to act up or the equipment doesn’t meet my needs I will update my review but at this pont in time all I can say is it works and I have no issue recommending it.

Review: I put this on my tundra a month ago as cell signal services across Nova Scotia are quite pathetic unless you’re near a town. A lot of drop out spots along the highways and pretty much anywhere 20 miles from the coast or Halifax Regional Municipality (or so it would seem). Even at my own house, I have to stand upside down, holding an umbrella with my foot and also holding my tongue just right from my left, just to get a signal. Which is why I also got a booster for the house instead! 😅I did have another signal booster on my truck before this one and I have to say that this one is an improvement. With the old one, It pretty much removed 90% of the dead spot areas, but with my new one here, I have not come across any yet! If I do, I will change my review.Another hot topic; included with your purchase, there is this little plastic extension rod. It looks like it is made of some type of carbide plastic and you screw the major antenna to the base with it. It is about 8.5 inches long. Yeaha, that one… throw that out. They included the same ones with the other signal booster I had mentioned previously and they are prone to snapping due to the high winds on the highway. Honestly, it just raises the antenna another 8.5 inches. It does not make THAT much of a difference. I know, you want to get as much height as possible and as much distance as possible between the antennas to reduce interference but that means little if you lose the whole receiver on the highway! Or worse, cause an accident!I do not use the carbide extension rod and honestly, I do not have that much interference. The LCD display lets me know these things! Another reason why I love this booster, you can watch in real time your bandwidths, signal strengths, etc. on the LCD display!Anyways, this is a great signal booster and highly recommend!Thank you for reading my review! 🙏

Review: This is a second order for my SUV – We have a cabin that doesn’t have a good cell reception. I initially planned on buying a booster for the cabin and having it installed inside. Every time we go to the cabin, we spend a lot of time by the nearby lake. So I thought I could cheat and came across this RV booster instead. I ordered it specifically since it’s designed a bit more portable than then usual boosters. I didn’t install it on an RV but on my truck. So when the truck is parked, I just bring out the internal antenna near the cabin window, and voila! And when we are out by the lake, well, I do the same! The booster works no matter where you are, so it’s super useful. But of course, one thing that’s super important that you’ll need to keep in mind is that this is not a magical tool and will not create a signal out of thin air! That means there needs to be some sort of receivable signal, even weak, but some. It may be too weak for your phone, but there needs to be some sort of signal. And the booster boosts the existing signal. There’s an LCD monitor that gives you a bunch of status readings, such as signal strength. It works well boosting 4G and 5G. I tried using it in a small town near my cabin. They have an antenna nearby, so as soon as I got close to the town, I noticed my phone detected 5G. Curious as to whether this was my shiny new phone or the booster, I turned off the booster, and the signal completely disappeared. I was in the car with windows rolled up… I’m sure if I left the car and went on the roof of the truck, I might have been able to get some signal. So, it has worked well in my case. I would highly suggest you to check if your provider is supported. It should support most Canadian providers, but it never hurts to check. So, one other thing I noticed since installing this booster in my truck is that it actually strengthens my signals. Especially when I’m using my older work phone (which has been dropped many times), there were some areas where I would get a signal, but I would lose the person on the other end a little, or sometimes the call would just drop. I always thought it was my phone, but it turned out I was partly right. It was my phone, but the issue was that my older phone simply couldn’t get a good signal, whereas my iPhone had no issue. So with the booster, I have no issue using my work phone. I’m still gonna change my phone, but it’s good to know the booster really works well.Installation is straightforward and quick; it took me under an hour with all necessary accessories included. In my truck, I made it so it’s easy to connect it to an external battery for when I’m in the cabin but still wanna use the booster. Great booster.

Review: The first thing you need to know about cell boosters is this: They are not magic. They will NOT make a signal appear when there is no signal to be had. What they will do (if set up properly) is take a very weak cell signal and make it usable. So, if you live in the middle of an enchanted forest without a cell tower to be found for 100 miles, this device is not for you. It simply won’t work. What I needed it for was when I camp in remote areas where I can usually get 1 bar on my phone but need a bit of boost so I can upload a video or possible stream my favourite TV show. Does it work for that? You bet it does.I have tested 4 different models of cell boosters looking for the “right” one for my rig. I think I have found it. They all worked “okay” but each one I tried had oscillation issues. If you’re new to the cell booster world this is a word you should familiarize yourself with. It’s important. Oscillation is much like when you put a microphone too close to a speaker and you get feedback. The same thing happens when you put your outside antenna too close to your inside antenna. You end up with oscillation. That cancels the signal out and the booster will not work. With one unit I tested you needed 40 feet between antennas. Fine for a home set-up. For an RV, not so much. I was super happy to see this unit only requires 10 feet or vertical separation and 4 feet of horizontal separation. Not hard to do with most RV’s.I knew as soon as I opened the box that I was dealing with a “high end” system. Everything is well packaged; the included instructions are super clear and easy to follow, and the manufacturer includes several different mounting plates for various different installations scenarios. I was really impressed with the billet aluminum adjustable mount for the inside control box. Everything you need for a clean install is in the box.I’m not going to get into exactly how I went about doing the installation here because every install is different. I recommend searching online and watch some videos on how to install cell boosters on RV’s. There are some good vids out there. Once you get everything installed, set up is a breeze. The colour screen will show you all the stats and will tell you if you have any issues. I have only been testing for a few days, but I can tell you at my house where I usually had about a bar or two of 5g I was pulling 5 bars with the unit turned on with significant increases in upload and download speed tests. I purposely took my rig to a location where I know cell service was weak. It’s normally about a 1 bar area. With this booster on I got a solid 4 bars. I’m impressed. Like I said, I have only been testing for a short while but so far, I like what I see.My only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that base control unit emits a kind of a pulsing sound. It’s hard to describe, but I could hear it if I was standing near by. I solved that issue by relocating the unit to the storage bay in my RV. Make sure you allow plenty of airflow around the base station because it does get warm while it’s operating. I’m told that is normal.I realize this is an expensive set up. You can buy other boosters for much less. All I can tell you is based on my experience with 4 different models, this one is by far the best I’ve used. It was the easiest to set up. It had the best instructions, and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Review: I am a long haul trucker and I needed a solution for when I out in the far north west regions of Canada like Thunder Bay and others, and I have almost no mobile reception in these very remote stretches of road. I am often driving here for long periods of time, or I have to park for the night and I can never get a clear signal for either data or calls, and that is not good for a trucker.I decided to give this option, the SF-R for mobile signal boosting with 5G compatibility from the APLUS BOOST Store a chance. It is not the most affordable option at $699 at the time of this review, however I am not a very tech savvy guy and… while I do know how to set up basic stuff, I wanted the process of using it to be as user “friendly” as possible. With its bright and colourful LCD screen, all the details I needed are configurable and easy to see when I am out on the road.Putting the antennas in their appropriate places; one inside my cab, and the other on my roof, for both sending and receiving, was easy enough, and it didn’t take long to get the signal booster up and running, and it actually seems to be working quite well. I use Bell as my mobile service, and I have only preliminary tested this booster one haul so far. However, I am taking it out again next week, and will update if there are any changes worth noting. In the meantime however I have not had any dropped calls, and using data on both my laptop, phone and truck-installed devices (which can run off LTE hot spot when necessary) all seem excellent. I am assuming from what I can read on the display that things are working perfectly okay as advertised. And that is such a functional relief for my line of work. 5 stars.
