Review: My phone arrived looking PERFECT. It looks brand new externally without a visual blemish on it staying true to the EXCELLENT condition standard.Setup was rather smooth. The only hiccup I encountered was that the phone didn’t recognize my Mint Mobile SIM card for some reason. Looking for an answer, I found that I could use an eSIM setup to get around that which got my service on the new device. I’m not sure why the phone didn’t recognize the SIM.The phone appears to be working fine so far. If anything drastically changes I’ll update this review.

Title: NOT compatible with any carrier except Verizon. Bait and Switch.
Review: Phone is NOT compatible with AT&T. It was advertised and purchased as being unlocked, ready to use for any GSM carrier. Used it on Verizon network for almost 2 years. With a physical SIM card and an eSIM. Tried switching to AT&T and it wouldn’t make or receive calls. I can send and receive text messages. I can get on the 5G and 4G networks and use the data. But no phone calls. WTF. Phone still functions fine and still works on Verizon, but Verizon has gone way downhill in my area. Actually, they suck in my area. Used to be good, then they abandoned everyone here and just don’t care about their customers anymore. Kind of like people that sell a phone as compatible when it wasn’t. And we’re way past the 90 day return policy. The phone works fine, on Verizon, and Verizon alone. It was falsely advertised. Some people would even call this fraud. I am one of those people.

Review: Received quickly, no blemishes or scratches. Completely unlocked, put in my cricket Sim card and set up phone within five minutes! Camera quality is excellent compared to my old Samsung A13. Very happy that I took the risk. i used my Samsung fast charger and the phone went from 39% to 100% in less then an hour or so. Charger that came with the phone is generic, as specified by seller, so I just trashed that one.(I purchased the “Excellent condition, refurbished.”

Title: Excellent condition, unlocked, worked with a European SIM card
Review: I needed an unlocked phone to use in Italy and Austria. I bought this S21+ along with an “Orange Holiday Europe” SIM card.The phone arrived in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents. The screen appeared to have been replaced. After setting it up, I tested it by installing SIM cards from AT&T and TELLO, both worked perfectly – it’s definitely unlocked.Right before the trip, I installed the “Orange” SIM card with the phone powered down. Upon arrival in Italy I powered it up, and it immediately connected to the local service. We used Google Maps to get from the airport to our hotel some 50km’s away, no problems at all.Photos taken on the trip were excellent. We installed Google Translate and Microsoft Translator which worked perfectly and were a real asset in helping us navigate the foreign signs, menus, etc. We also set up Hot Spot and Tethering, and used that along with wireless calling on our US SIM based phones to make and receive free calls and texts to/from US numbers. It all worked as expected with no issues.There are two minor issues to report.The battery life was OK, I would start each day at 100% but by end of day it typically had around 30% remaining. My new (locked) S23+ easily gets two days on a single charge.I did notice a minor blemish on the screen after a week of using it. At first I thought it was just a greasy smear, but no amount of cleaning has managed to remove it. I didn’t notice this when I first received the phone so it most likely manifested after use. It would seem to be a flaw with the screen itself. I did not use a screen protector, which may or may not have helped to prevent it from occurring. Fortunately it’s close to the bottom of the screen and has not really affected the viewing area, nor has it affected the touch screen in the area of the blemish.All-in-all I am happy with this phone. I plan to use it for future international trips as it can do what I need without having to pay the $10-a-day AT&T International Roaming plan – that soon gets very expensive with 2 or more phones.

Title: Great phone, but can’t update
Review: So I purchased this phone in 2022. Don’t get me wrong I love this phone and it is still in great condition, not a scratch or crack in sight. The only thing is, I don’t get updates. I cannot update my phone. I am probably like 3 1/2 years behind in updates. When I try to update my phone it’s says “Your current software version isn’t supported. Visit a service center” The last update was October 22, 2021. Like I mentioned the phone is in great condition but I think updates are necessary to receive full functionality of the phone. I don’t know what the previous carrier was so I believe that’s preventing me from receiving updates. Even the phone is unlocked it is still locked to previous carrier. I will not be purchasing an unlocked phone ever again.

Review: I’m very happy with this purchase. I was admittedly skeptical but the phone was in perfect condition and works very well. I did have an issue where it asked me to update the software multiple times but it did stop. The only advice I’d give is to ensure you factory reset yourself before putting all your information in just to ensure there’s no suspicious software added. I didn’t do this and haven’t had any issues but would recommend it just in case (it was an after thought to me).. since it’s sold from Amazon directly, it’s supposed to be safe and scam free but you never know. Overall very happy with the product and appreciate the return window.

Review: EDIT: After the issues with my first phone (see below), Amazon refunded me and told me to order again. The condition was listed as “New”. I ordered a replacement one and it worked well for a couple months… until it got very slightly wet. This phone was advertised as “New” condition when I purchased it. But even though a new version of this phone is waterproof, this phone was not remotely waterproof and just a couple drops of water resulted in a fried motherboard and a ruined phone. This was not advertised correctly to the customer in anyway. Both of the phones I ordered had issues and ended terribly. Amazon is also refusing to refund even though they sold a defective product!!! Very upset with the situation. I can not urge you strongly enough to NOT buy this.Original Review:Phone arrived looking good – no visible scratches anywhere as far as I could tell. When I went to setup the device, it asked to register my fingerprints to have access to Samsung Pass and other features that require your fingerprints. The scanner would not register. I suspect that when refurbishing the device they either did not reconnect the scanner or they damaged it in some way.In any case, after 1 hour on a call with samsung customer service, they confirmed that it was in fact defective and needed servicing.I contacted the Seller (A-1 wireless inc) by phone and they told me to return the device through Amazon. I’m in that process now and will update once the refund has been processed.Ordering a replacement now and will see if the next one arrives working as advertised.
