   I bought one of these Addtam outlet extenders for the kitchen and ended up ordering a handful more. Between phones, e-readers, a handheld gaming console, and smart-home hubs, a single duplex outlet just wasn’t cutting it.What I likePlenty of room for bulky plugs.    Too wide for my outlet/light switch combo
   I didn’t think of the width when I ordered this. Where I need to use it is a light switch and outlet combo. Plugging this in blocks the switch from operation. This is above my kitchen counter and where I like to charge my phone, ear buds and maybe a small appliance as well as plug in my sound bar and occasionally a light or mixer. Thought this would be a perfect solution, but the switch precludes me from using it. I will most likely return it as I don’t have a single outlet that I need to add an extender to. Seems well made, but I can’t review on its function. Really wish it had worked out!

   Chunky but worth it
   I swapped the tangle of bricks in our kitchen for this 5‑Outlet Splitter and instantly felt like we’d won back half the counter. Five grounded sockets—spread across three faces—let me run the rice cooker, stand mixer, and toaster at once without playing plug‑and‑unplug. The real star, though, is the 20 W USB‑C port: my husband’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G rockets from 15 % to 60 % in about half an hour, and even my older iPhone 7 Plus tops off respectably when I use a Lightning‑to‑C cable. The extra USB‑A ports keep our BlendJet and earbuds happy, so cords stay tucked instead of draped everywhere. Build quality feels solid. The housing locks snugly to the wall, and the 1 800‑joule surge protection helps me worry less when summer storms roll through. Compared with a similar splitter I bought last year, this one’s layout is smarter—the outlets are staggered just enough for bulky chargers. Downsides? The body is chunky and can hog the neighboring wall receptacle on tight duplex plates. And because the total 3 A output is shared, plugging two power‑hungry USB devices slows them both. Still, for faster charging, cleaner cable management, and more usable outlets in one compact unit, this splitter earns its spot in both our kitchen and office. Worth it—even if your phone isn’t the newest kid on the block.
