   So far, I am really pleased
   I had a Fitbit years ago that broke after a year. I refused to get another smart watch but after the wildfires, I lost every watch I owned and wanted a good looking, smart and dependable watch. And I couldn’t break the bank. I did some research and found the Active 2. I went Premium to get the better glass and a snazzy leather band for going out as well as the silicone one for working out. First the good, and I bet I forget some. EASY interface, and LOTS of apps. I love the choices of faces so much, and the straps interchange securely and easily. This is a well thought out piece of hardware. The fact it has GPS is so much better than the other watches that do not. The way the OS is organized is clean and easy. The reminders to walk or stand, the wake up summary that includes hints on making my day better based on my sleep and previous activities are brilliant and they really work. I can just imagine an earnest crew at Amazfit always looking to improve. Now for the not so good. I interface with an iPhone and clearly the watch is best suited for Android phones. I hoped to get help with maps on my watch, but it seems that only works with Android phones. Also, I have not figured out how to reply to calls or texts on the watch but to be honest that’s not what I got the watch for, and I’m a little relieved to not add those distractions. I am happy enough to get the vibration on my watch and check my messages, see my calendar, etc. without taking my phone out unless I have to. I have only had this thing for a few days but I love it so much more than the Fitbit. It’s a better watch (even a better looking too) for less money and it is WAY less expensive than the Apple watch. For a smart companion, I do not think there is a better watch for the price.

   Best buy for a budget smart watch.
   Excellent watch for the price. i wanted a smart watch with a long battery life, light weight, medium size and basic GPS with a map. Comfortable and useful to wear on day hikes. The Zepp app is well designed and provides the ability to customize the watch. Easy to read time and date in sunlight and dark compared to a regular watch, durable so far, and I use it more than expected. Review YouTube videos of all the features, you will be surprised. I prefer the list view of icons than the default. Change watch face to one of your pictures using Zepp app. The AI features worked when you ask a question. Pretty cool and fast.

   Well made and functional
   Amazfit is an understated brand and they have great smart watches. Battery life is excellent. Even with always on, the watch easily gives you about 12 days. Heart rate monitoring is good and you can adjust the frequency to your liking. Pairs well and easily with the Zepp app. It’s very functional and can be worn in a formal setting with the leather strap or with the orange strap when working out. It’s well made and feels solid.

   Great watch BUT..
   Great watch BUT…Had a devil of a time getting it paired. Followed directions I found and reset Bluetooth on my phone. Had to re-pair my Garmin Fenix 7 pro ( bought Amazfit Active 2 as a backup) but not a big deal. End of story, the watch finally paired and I’m ASTOUNDED by the features. If I HAD TO think of a negative, a single band GPS is a bit lacking ( especially being accustomed to my multiband GPS on my Garmin) but that’s a small price to pay for a great watch at a fraction of the price of my Garmin. The display is bright, the morning report design well rivals my Garmin and it’s reasonably easy to use. ( Gentle hint, learn to make use of the touchscreen over and against the buttons).UPDATE:I cannot stress enough: Amazfit gives you lots of bang for your buck. Active 2’has more on it than a comparable Garmin Forerunner. However, haven’t figured out why yet; but it WILL randomly unpair from your phone and it’s aggravating getting it re-paired

   Best smart watch I have ever owned!
   This thing blows away the Fitbit Versa 2, and the Garmin. Very quick and easy to set up. Quite accurate with your steps, which is important to me. Heart rate is on point, and there are tons of extra features. You can set it up for almost any type of exercise that you do. From walking on the treadmill, to walking outside. Running, strength training, lap swimming, elliptical, rowing machine, you name it. The weather is accurate on this as well. It’s just a beautiful watch. For the rest of us, we don’t need that Apple watch with the high price tag. This watch is superior, and the price is right. Another bonus, the charge lasts for days. I need to charge mine tonight, after not charging it for 9 days. This brand will forever be my go to. I research EVERYTHING thoroughly, and after having bought a Garmin to give it a go, that thing was a hunk of junk. I came across this one, read the reviews, and felt confident with my purchase. You will not be sorry you bought this. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve told about this watch.

   Lightweight smartwatch with great functionality and stylish appeal at the right price point of $100
   Great smartwatch that is easy to navigate and responsive to touch. It is very lightweight which was a little worrisome. My previous smartwatch was a Garmin Fenix 6 which is heavier and rugged. It looks great, has a bright screen, and paired easily with my Google Pixel 6 Pro phone. The only concerns/issues I have are: (1) because the watch is so lightweight, I’m concerned about it durability…definitely would not wear it in the garage while fixing things; (2) when paired with Pandora music app, the watch vibrates/notifies me every time the song changes no matter if its via my phone or car…I hope that maybe a setting change can fix this. Overall, great smartwatch for normal everyday life and workouts but probably not the one for extreme sports and in the garage wear.

   After my Fitbit 3 finally died I wanted a replacement that looked like a slim dress watch but didn’t have the huge price tag like other well known brands. I purchased this from a consumer nz review and it does exactly what it says on the box. I love that it is lightweight and has all the native apps you need. My husband now wants one to replace his Apple Watch.

    Bought this to replace my Fitbit which broke, having lasted less than 18 months. Sick of poor quality Fitbit I decided to move away from them and did a lot of research before settling on this beauty. What can I say, it outshines my old fitbit in every way and cost less too. It looks better, the quality and build seem better, like it might actually last longer, and the zepp app which comes with it is brilliant. The insights are great, again, way more detailed than Fitbit! The watch itself has a really clear, bright screen, and even displays photos and videos! I can even get my ring doorbell on it. It’s very versatile to suit your needs, with so many different features and there’s lots of clock faces to choose from to personalise it, some free, some paid. It was really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Battery life is insane too, I’ve just gone 10 days since my first charge without charging it. I’ve just now put it on charge, it was still on 25% so not desperate (for this watch anyway). I cannot recommend this watch enough for looks, versatility, ease of use, battery life, and price point. It looks way more expensive than it is! I do recommend buying screen protectors though as this watch does have a glass screen.
