Previously I purchased solar WiFi cameras, they were not working as advertised, hard to setup and constantly disconnect from my WiFi.Had excellent connectivity at both locations, after a week of trying different things I returned them.I was skeptical of buying another set of cameras but now I’m glad I found these Decko cameras.Very easy to setup, excellent connectivity and no drop outs.Videos are crystal clear and the best part is how it tracks everything.Very pleased and highly recommend.ML

Well made cameras.
I like they appear to be well made. I also like that they have battery backup. They are wireless and are solar. They however did not come with sd cards. I wasn’t real pleased about that. I don’t have them up and running just yet. In the next few days I will. I’m hoping it is easy to link them to my phone. So when I’m not home I can see what is going on there. It also has two way talk. Which I like a lot. If someone is at your door, you can talk to them through your phone. I think I will really like them more when I see what they can do. As in clarity, picture, etc. A fair price too.

Great Cameras
These cameras replaced the now discontinued FDT View cameras that are no longer supported and I’ve found them to be superior in every aspect. Price, functionality, app interface, quality recordings, etc. I’m thoroughly happy that I went with DEKCO!

Great camera with great video quality!
Great quality camera and has excellent picture quality. Love the freedom of not having to plug it in to an outlet, just charge it once, then the solar panel has recharged it every day since installing it. Has a great WiFi connectivity range, I installed this camera around 100ft away from my house and it shows maximum connection most all the time I have only noticed it drop one bar of signal twice since connecting it. I does a great job tracking human motion or animals walking by but vehicles can pass without detection at around 10 mph.

Useless for surveillance
The camera works correctly, but disconnects from the Wi-Fi network after approximately 1 minute of inactivity. If it detects movement, it reconnects, but otherwise it cannot be controlled using the Dekco app. Therefore, it cannot be used as a surveillance camera, and it is not possible to access the recordings made on the SSD card.I made a complaint to technical support and they sent me a new camera at no cost. However, the camera I received has the same problem; it disconnects from the Wi-Fi after a few minutes of inactivity.So the camera works to emit light and sound if it detects movement, but after a few minutes it disconnects and it is not possible to see what happened.I have been waiting for a response from technical support for approximately 20 days. Today I received a message simply stating that they will refund my money, but they did not provide any explanation as to what is happening.So now I have two identical cameras that have a problem that renders them useless as surveillance cameras.

Nice security camera and easy install plus simple set up! Only thing I don’t like is that it takes time to learn that the wind blowing the tree isn’t a person haha but thats okay since its better safe than sorry. Great night mode

Great Camera, bad sofware
This is the second Dekco DC9L camera I have purchased and I am happy with both of the camera’s. It gets a 4 because I purchased the first one less than a year ago, and so I purchased the exact same model for compatibility. I spent 2 hours trying to syn the camera to my phone only to call Customer Support and find out, it uses a different app? So, I have two apps on my phone, one for the first camera (which is old according to them) and one for the new camera. Have you guys every heard of backward compatability?

Camera works great! It does motion tracking and is easy to set up. I am a camera installer for a local company and these are great value for the money no fees for the app or the motion tracking as is with the other similar ones I bought.

Easy setup and awesome resolution

For the first month the camera worked great. Easy to install, lots of wifi signal, nice picture & tracked everything. Then suddenly it decided all it would record was the ground directly below it. It won’t move back up and shows the message “camera has been to the edge”. It will do a 360* rotation pointing at the ground below it but will no long point out into the yard or driveway unless you manually adjust it. Then it just returns to pointing at the ground shortly after. Disappointed as it was a great camera for the first month, not so though for the past 6 months. likely would not buy again.
