   Great for coin collecting
   I’ve been using this for over a year now. Its still as great as the day I bought it. I use this to look at coins, for collecting. It zooms in to get all the details of the coin. The light is bright, makes the image clear and easy to see. The charge last a long time. This product is very easy to use. The size is perfect, and the product is well made. It even looks fancy on my desk. This would be of great use and educational purposes, for home schooled kids. Great value for the money!

   Great addition to Hubby’s hobby!!
   My husband was pleased to receive this coin microscope as a gift. Unfortunately, a piece was missing from the box. We got in touch with the seller and they were great in following up. To our surprise, they didn’t just replace the missing part—they replaced the whole microscope! My husband says it works great—easy to use with very good picture quality, focus and brightness. He is looking forward to using it with our grandchildren who share his coin-collecting hobby!

   Perfect starter microscope, or perfect for coins for which it was advertised.
   This was perfect for what I wanted it for, but one should know that’s this product is very much a “starter” microscope . The parts and flimsy and so cheap. Some low grade aluminum or even tin. Rather easy to set up.It can be finicky when trying to adjust.. but in full transparency that is likely operator error.But once you get through these things.. and use it. I was pretty happy. I am a mineral and crystal collector, so I love to look at the pieces magnified. I had been using a jewelry loupe, which worked.. but I couldn’t really capture a picture. – so I knew I wanted something small to start out.. I found one other “pocket microscope” oh my god it Was horrible. When I found this one I loved tat it was compact, but it has a lcd screen with a spot for a memory card l.. LOVE this!I haven’t yet purchased the memory card, BUT that hasn’t stopped me from setting it up zooming in and snapping a picture from my phone to share with my group..keep in mind as the description says this is technically designed for coins. If that is what you will be using it for.. I think it would be a great! Obviously as shared is crazy mineral collectors can use for smaller specimens.And despite the disappointment in the material and lack of real quality.. I gave 5 stars. It meets the description perfectly. It works as designed; and at that, it works pretty cool.. and did I say.. you can record!Some of the pictures. One of the original piece and 2 inclusions that were not viable to the naked eye.. or were really little spots. The 4th picture is dendritic formations.. so as you can see it does work.Would i recommend yeah I think I would, and would share the things that I personally didn’t care for.

   Clear images, nice screen, good focusing, could use better lighting
   Works very well for looking at coins. The adjustments and focusing function properly to create clear images. The led lights are good, but when viewing from farther away, or at less magnification, the lights dont do as well and creates too many shadow spots making viewing more difficult. The camera and screen work very well.

   Great utility for the money, and fun to use.
   Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve just received this product yesterday and have had a minimum amount of time to experiment with it, but my initial impression is, “wow!”  This is an incredible amount of functionality for $36.00.  It’s a optical microscope with digital output on a 4″ screen.  With the insertion of an SSD card, you can also save images and video  that appear on your screen.  It’s sold as a “coin” magnifier, but even at the minimum magnification, you cannot fit the entire single digit of the year of a coin in the screen, so powerful is the magnification.  The magnification starts at “1.2X” (whatever that actually means) and increases to “4.0X,” again, without any real reference to actual magnification terms such as “30X.”  “1.2X” is far more than 1.2 times the naked image.  So, if you want to see the veins in a fly’s wings, this is perfect.  For a coin, not so much.BTW, I ordered some glass slides for practical use of this device.  You need to keep your subject in a small plane because of the limited focal range in this and any microscope.  You want to keep your subject flat, as between two glass slides.  I also recommend the black option to reduce reflective glare.My suggestions to the manufacturer for improvement:  1) an option for backlight, rather than simply reflected light.  For translucent or transparent subjects, this would be an improvement.  2) stiffen up the main focus mechanism so that it is perfectly square with the table.  Mine is a little loose and out of square.  3) Have your instructions reviewed by someone who has just used your product for the first time.  I found them a little lacking.

   Great microscope for coins –
   Great microscope for detailed viewing of coins. Holder hands (see picture) hold the coin in place. Image is bright and resolution is very good. It’s easy and fun to use and would recommend it. Probably other uses for it with jewelry, etc.

   Good product
   It’s excellent! The 4x magnification, adjustable stand, control of how much light, the light weight design, and ease of use. This is unbeatable at this price; I highly recommend to anyone.

   Kein Profigerät und richtig große, wissenschaftliche Vergrößerungswerte sind damit nicht zu machen …ob das wirklich 1000-fach vergrößert glaube ich nicht. Egal, für mich hat das Gerät sowieso andere Funktionen, die mir wichtig sind. Ich will sehr kleine Schrift auf Elektronik-Chips, auf Platinen, die Stanzung auf Nähmaschinennadeln und Werte auf Schmuck lesen können usw. Also eine sehr gute, beleuchtete Lupe mit einfacher Foto-Video-Funktion, war das was ich haben wollte, das habe ich mit diesem Gerät auch bekommen. Ich will keine Einzeller beobachten und habe das auch noch nicht probiert. Man kann die Objekte riesig auf dem PC betrachten oder direkt auf dem kleinen Bildschirm am Taschenmikroskop. Die Kamerasoftware von Win11 erkennt das Gerät direkt und man kann am PC Foto- und Videoaufnahmen machen oder aber auch stand-alone nur mit dem Mikroskop. Die Auflösung ist für meine Zwecke gut. Zudem ist ein Akku eingebaut, so kann man das Elikliv-Mikroskop schnurlos, überall nutzen. Die Fotos/Videos werden dann auf Speicherkarte gesichert. Ein Mikroskop nutzt in der Regel einen Objektträger und eine Beleuchtung von unten (Durchlicht), das ist für meine Verwendungen untauglich. Dieses Taschenmikroskop beleuchtet von oben (Auflicht), so dass man problemlos massive, lichtundurchlässige Objekte ausleuchten kann. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass Kinder damit gut für die Naturwissenschften begeistert werden können, bevor man in ein professionelleres Gerät investiert. Die Bedienung ist auch für Kinder leicht erlernbar und die Objekte sind leicht zu fokussieren. Für mich ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ebenfalls gut.
