Stunning Picture Quality and Smooth Performance at an Amazing Price
Setting up the Hisense 55″ QD7 Series Mini-LED TV was a breeze, and once it powered on, I was immediately impressed. The Mini-LED with full array local dimming makes a huge difference — blacks look deep without washing out the brights, and there’s almost no haloing even during high-contrast scenes. Watching movies and sports feels incredibly lifelike, with every tiny detail popping right off the screen. The QLED color really stands out too. Colors are rich and vibrant without looking overly saturated — greens, reds, and blues all feel natural and sharp. Dolby Vision support adds even more depth and detail, and combined with Dolby Atmos, it made movie nights way more immersive. Even the built-in speakers weren’t bad for casual viewing, though obviously not home-theater level.Gaming was another huge win here. Game Mode Plus and the support for variable refresh rates and low latency made playing smooth and lag-free. I tested it with both a PS5 and Xbox, and everything from fast shooters to open-world adventures looked sharp and felt responsive, with no noticeable screen tearing.Overall, this TV punches far above its price tag. If you’re looking for incredible color, great performance for gaming and streaming, and a true home theater vibe without spending a fortune, this Hisense model is absolutely worth it. It feels like you’re getting flagship features at a fraction of the cost.

Great buy! Good quality!
Great picture, like the screen size and thin profile. Weight is good – not overly heavy or bulky. Does take a few seconds to load various screens but not bad at all. Easy to connect and set up.I am liking it!!

Great for the value with a a flaw here and there
Ok, so here’s the deal: I grabbed the Hisense QD7 Mini‑LED in 85″ size thinking “massive screen at a killer price.” For around $999, it delivers some serious specs—Mini‑LED with full-array local dimming, 4K HDR, 144 Hz refresh, Game Mode Pro with VRR, plus built-in Dolby Vision and Atmos. It’s a lot on paper for the price .Setup & UISetup was easy, and the handles on the back were a nice touch when lifting the 85″ beast. The Fire TV smart platform runs fairly smooth—from my experience it’s snappier than some Android TVs I’ve used . There are a few reports of lag switching menus and Alexa quirks from Reddit users, but mostly it’s fine day‑to‑day .Picture QualityColors pop. HDR looks good, especially Dolby Vision content. Blacks are reasonably deep thanks to local dimming. That said, some users flagged uneven shadows or clouding on solid-black scenes—panel lottery sort of thing. A few mentioned washed‑out vibrance right out of the box; tuning brightness, contrast, and turning off energy‑saving modes helped bother some folks .

Best TV I’ve Ever Owned
This is honestly the best TV I’ve ever owned. I was a bit skeptical because I’ve never owned Hisense TV before, but upon further research it was revealed they made TV’s for Sharp and Toshiba. Two brands I’ve owned so I felt comfortable. All that aside, the images produced by this TV are amazing. I’m still impressed by the way the colors pop and the crispiness of the image. I have an X Box series X and it has made the console an entirely new experience for me. At this price, you can’t go wrong. Most TV’s with a refresh rate over 60 are going for much more. This TV has top notch performance and is easy to connect to any streaming service.

Great color and fit where we needed it to!
The TV that came in our travel trailer was tiny and low resolution. This new TV fills the entertainment center perfectly! The colors are vivid out of the box with no adjustments, and the streaming works great with our travel router. This was a cost-effective upgrade!

Well worth the money spent!
First off, let me be clear here. With a $500 price tag, I consider this a budget TV so perfection was not expected. However, this is the 3rd HiSense tv I have purchased… my little 32″ HiSense LCD tv is still going strong in my bedroom after about 15 years. I bought one similar to this for my grandma for Christmas last year and she loves it (I set it all up for her and was very impressed with both the picture quality and the audio quality). This one is no exception, unboxing was fast, installing the feet was as simple as flipping the TV over, setting the feet into place, and screwing in 4 screws. Plugged it in and booted it up and it took me through an install process just like it I were setting up a Firestick for first use. The picture is great and the audio quality is unreal for a flat panel tv. No soundbar is needed unless you like to really feel the bass hitting you. It does not sound tinny at all which is extremely common with these larger flat panel tv’s. The only “con” is that the OS is ever so slightly laggy but not enough to make you rip your hair out…just a very slight delay. But again, you’re buying a 65″ tv for $500 so don’t expect absolute perfection. You’re getting what you’re paying for and this is absolutely worth the money. The attached video is with the volume at I think 12…I didn’t see how high it would go but based on the visual indicator, I would bet around 35-40. The bass was better in real-time. My phone doesn’t pick up the lows very well.
