Great for students
As a grad student, this LG monitor was a great cheaper alternative to Samsung and Apple displays. The screen is clear and responsive, and it works well with my MacBook—just make sure to get an HDMI to USB-C adapter. I also use Universal Control between my MacBook and iPad, and the monitor fits right into that setup for a smooth three-screen experience. Great value overall!

Just fine for me
I bought a laptop. I usually get desktop computers. I needed a monitor to use the laptop like a desktop. This monitor was recommended. There was a warning when I purchased this monitor that it was returned frequently. That being said, I purchased it anyway. If fit my needs very well. It is large without the curve. I am not a gamer but a photographer and a designer so the resolution and colors are very good for me. It is a television as well and comes with the streaming apps like Netflix and Disney and others. The setup was easy. Overall I am pleased with this monitor. It comes with a remote. It helps when I wake the computer but the monitor doesn’t always wake, but that’s okay. I did add a dock to connect additional devices and a keyboard and mouse. A good purchase for my uses.

Absolutely awful
I had this monitor for less than a year when it suddenly got vibrating vertical lines on the screen making it ostensibly unusable. I confirmed through trouble shooting with LG that this is not a connection issue it’s just something in their product that spontaneously broke. One year later, their proposed solution was that I pay them $350 for a repair. Definitely skip unless you want something to add to the garbage heap 10 months later.

Great Monitor when you get use to it but operates more like a TV
Minor annoyances:- the sound quality is low & a little muffled- you have to use the remote to get it to connect to your computer via the cable (this docks points for me because it makes it harder to use)- will need an adapter if you have a modern computer because despite having a USBC port, you can’t actually connect to your computer via USBc (guessing it’s out only?)Visual quality is fine – great for work, and you can adjust brightness & blue light down. The value for money is great.It is a beautiful monitor in terms of design. Looks clean and modern – love the warm white color.

Pretty In Pink
I purchased this Monitor for My Desktop because I Love the Color Pink, it also matches the rest of My Room, I am using it as a Monitor, but also like the idea of having the Streaming Channels, this fit the bill perfectly, the Colors are very bright as any LG product, It doesn’t disappoint, highly recommend. And the Keyboard and Mouse is a added Treat!

Hack for getting a nice pink TV
We use this smart monitor as a TV in my wife’s office and it has been great. The picture is way better than the 32 inch Visio tv that it replaced, has the same ThinQ UI that our living room tv has (which makes navigation easier for everyone) and can be used as a second monitor for the MacBook Air when my wife needs more screen real estate. The biggest selling point was the fact that the monitor is pink and matches the decor in her office perfectly. This monitor checked all the boxes for our needs.
