Great camera for the price
Very nice camera with amazing photo quality. I paired it with a 24-70 S f2.8 and it is a wonderful combination. The menu is not as intuitive as Sony’s menus but it offers high end functions. Two memory cards with the option of the faster CFexpress card makes it fast and reliable. Camera grip is very comfortable.

The camera is fantastic. Now that I bought it, I don’t regret paying a bit more, even if I will not fully use all the capabilities it has, and probably a Nikon Z6ii would have fit me well and been cheaper. There are so many possible features and adjustable settings that it kind of feels overwhelming. I still need to learn a lot about the camera itself. Nikon provides instructional videos upon registration, which I have not seen yet, but it may be useful. Maybe there is something I still need to learn how to set, but for me, the shutter button could be more “mechanical”; it seems to me that I don’t have enough haptic feedback when pressing it.

Best bang for the buck!
The predecessor, Z6 II, was an exceptional camera to begin with. The video was acceptable, down-sampled 4K from 6K, it was sharp. The let down was the 8-bit 4:2:0 internal shooting. There wasn’t much latitude in post, so it wasn’t a true enthusiasts hybrid camera. The Z6 II left shooters desiring a more videocentric camera. Now they have it here with the Z6 III, we’ve got the same 24.5mp resolution which is plenty, and exceptional for low light photography and especially video. True Z6 enthusiast didn’t ask for higher resolution since the Z8 covers that. We got the low light and now we the video features with 6K/60p internal raw at full sensor readout, great waveform, line-in, RAW, ProRES, H.265 and H.264 codecs. Amazing. You got the image quality, now you have the video. This camera is a perfect companion to your Z8 or as it’s own platform. With Pixel-Shift, it’s got landscapes covered. It’s small, it’s light, and it packs a punch well above its price level. In fact, you cant get these specs in a camera less than $4000

Not a New Item
Was packed for shipping so that it easily shifted around in the shipping box. Arrived with the manufacturer’s box clearly having already been opened since all of the accessories were already out of their respective bags and the battery was already installed. And on top of that the english language manual was missing. Not to mention the electronic viewfinder seems glitchy and unstable. This will be returned. Not a good experience at all. Shame on Nikon.

Great camera. I purchased it after I have been using the ZF for over a year. The autofocus is much faster and more reliable than the ZF, especially with eye focus lock in. In my experience at least I am much more happier. I would highly recommend this body.

I’m a working professional photographer who deals with weddings, fashion, commercial work. I also am a videographer/cinematographer and the Nikon Z6 III has been the BEST camera I’ve ever owned. You get 6k 60p video which is insane and the quality is so good (even the eye autofocus for humans and animals is really good). Don’t believe in the Sony hype, get this Nikon instead.
