   Great travel camera!
   This is a dream for content creators who need a lightweight, travel-friendly camera without compromising on quality. Its full-frame sensor delivers stunning, high-resolution images, even in low light, while the fast WiFi connection makes it effortless to transfer photos and videos straight to your phone for instant social sharing. Plus, the real-time LUT function lets you apply professional-grade color presets in-camera, cutting down on editing time.However, the lack of a built-in viewfinder can make shooting in bright sunlight tricky, and no in-body image stabilization (IBIS) means handheld video might be shaky without a gimbal. Still, if you’re looking for a compact, high-quality camera designed for speed and convenience, the LUMIX S9 is a solid choice.

   I dreamed about it!
   I’ve been wanting a LUMIX S9 full-frame camera for a long time, and now that I finally have one, I couldn’t be happier!!!This camera provides everything a creative needs to bring their vision to reality. The image quality is simply stunning—sharp, bright, and detailed. And the 20-60mm lens is incredibly versatile, suitable for both wide pictures and close-ups.One of my favorite features is the ease of use; the autofocus is smooth and quick, and the menu is really intuitive. Plus, the 6K video quality is incredible; I can take my stuff to the next level!The camera is a little heavy, but it feels strong and professional, as if it was designed to last. The battery lasts long enough for regular shooting, and I always keep a spare on hand for long-term assignments.This camera has certainly made my dreams come true! If you’re a creator looking for an update, I wholeheartedly recommend this camera!

   Game changer
   Would be closer to the perfect travel camera, if it had an evf and a hot shoe for flash or other accessaries. A work around for evf issue is an optical view finder. The accuracy of af focus is good enough just using the optical and not having to look at the lcd for confirmation. Perfect xpan digital replacement camera. Having custom luts real time is also a game changer whether you shoot video or pics.

   Best camera for content creators
   The LUMIX S9’s image quality is simply stunning; photos are sharp and vibrant. I love the smooth, reliable autofocus – it’s a joy to use. The in-body image stabilization is a game-changer, especially for handheld shooting. Video is also fantastic, offering great detail and dynamic range. It’s a really comfortable camera to hold, even for extended shoots. Overall, a fantastic all-around performer.

   Camera in a class of its own if you value portable
   The footprint and capacity of this camera with the 18-40mm is basically one of a kind. There are some compromises, but for the right use case, nothing really compares to it.If you’re shooting professionally, I doubt you would even consider this camera. If you want a compact travel camera for family videos for those than can appreciate the difference between this and a cell phone camera.Following an update, you can drop record limits. I haven’t been able to make this camera overheat in 4k30 for over an hour. YMMV and probably highly dependent on ambient temperatures.Internal mics are probably better than average for a full frame mirrorless, IBIS is solid, battery is also good. Cell phone integration with the MP4Lite format is solid.Tried many of the competitors, including A7c and ZV-E1. I consider the ZV-E1 an absolute joke. I actually missed some of my kid’s first steps because it overheated after 8 minutes on 4k60, also only 12mp sensor.Compared to the A7cii, this has no evf, slightly less dynamic range, no functional hot shoe, no headphone jack, 33 v 24mp, and worse battery life.For me, still like the image this camera puts out better, I’d probably use a mic with an additional headphone output if I wanted to, and probably wouldn’t carry/use any hot shoe accessories; kind of defeats the purpose of the portabilityI don’t think any of the Sony lens options really come close to the LUMIX 18-40, especially for video. The hybrid zoom stretching that to 18-61mm, without appreciable degradation in the high setting, for video at least. The most equivalent Sony option would be the kit lens with the ZV-E1, the 28-60, which is a massive compromise.I can see a use case for the A7c ii28-60 v the S9 18-40, but it’s also a $800/2oz weight penalty.If the reason you carry a smaller mirrorless camera is for video, this really can’t be beat. Rolling shutter much better in 4k60, but that comes with a crop

   Not quite
   This is my 7th camera and I find it quite pleasing to use for a quick snap or video. It’s hardly a serious photo camera. One big disappointment is in not weather sealed. A casual camera for walk around but still uncomfortable to see not weather sealed. Also, overall finish and materials of the body give cheap feel, mostly made of plastic-like composite material.

   New favorite camera
   I’ve been shooting photos/video for just over 10 years now, and the S9 makes it that much more fun. With it being so compact & simple to use, it’s like an extension of me. That means less time worrying about the gear & more time enjoying the moment I’m capturing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small yet extremely capable camera!
