   Beautiful Panasonic Fire TV
   No problems with the TV, is what I expected, beautiful picture, easy to set up, and very quick delivery. Our biggest problem, was not the product or Amazon business professionals, but, the delivery person, left the TV at the end of the driveway, with no phonecall or text message, anyone could have picked it up and drove off with it. Although, our vehicles was parked in the driveway, they could have easily rung the doorbell or called to let us know, but, they did nothing, but left a big screen tv at the end of the driveway, who does that, not Amazon.

   Impressive Smart TV At A Great Price Point
   I purchased two Panasonic smart tv models: 43” & 50.”This is a first for this brand as far as a smart tv is concerned. I have been pleasantly surprised with the picture and sound quality, the ease of switching to my wireless cable connection and back to Fire TV with Alexa. Screen mirroring and an internet app on screen.The number of apps are impressive and the overall sturdiness of the chassis (including metal stands) are just some of the standouts concerning the quality of this smart tv at a great price point…and setup was very straightforward and function has been perfect so far. Very happy with the purchase.

   Slow performance makes built-in Fire TV useless
   I purchased this TV in April 2025, mainly for its built-in Fire TV functionality. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing from the very beginning.The first unit I received didn’t turn on at all — the screen stayed completely black. I contacted Panasonic support, and although they responded within about 24 hours, their suggestions were limited to very basic troubleshooting (like holding the power button or unplugging the device). In the end, they simply advised me to contact the retailer for an exchange.After replacing it, the second unit at least powered on, but the Fire TV system was extremely slow from the start. The initial update took more than 30 minutes, and a message appeared saying my internet was unusually slow — despite having high-speed Fios service and no issues with other devices. Streaming apps like YouTube and Netflix frequently buffer, freeze, or fail to load, even at low resolutions.Restarting or unplugging the TV temporarily helps, but the problem returns after a few hours. It seems to be a persistent performance issue, possibly due to insufficient memory or a system-level bug in the Fire TV OS.While the panel itself looks good, I cannot recommend this TV for anyone planning to rely on the built-in Fire TV. You may need to add an external streaming device (like a Fire Stick), which defeats the purpose of buying a Fire TV-equipped model in the first place.I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

   Works just fine
   We got the first one and it had been dropped by the delivery guy so it had a bunch of lines in it, but the replacement we got seems to be working just fine! Not too hard to figure out, but picture quality seems good as well as functionality

   Viewing angle extremely limited
   Picture is great is you are dead-on straight. But anyone that is off even a few feet to the right or left is getting reduced contrast and a subpar picture.

   Its a name brand TV that is easy to set up and isn’t overpriced.
   This Panasonic TV seems to work very well and has a great picture. The setup as an Amazon Fire TV account holder, was literally plugging it into a power outlet, turning on the power and scanning a couple of QR Codes with my smart phone. It even uploads your previous viewing preferences, if you choose.It took a total of less than 10 minutes, from the time I hit the power button. The QR Codes will basically do everything besides key in your Amazon Fire password.Lots of new smart TVs are supposed to do exactly what this Panasonic does, but they don’t all have the same trouble free experience. And, it’s actually still working great, after the first two weeks, unlike another “no-name” brand I bought 1 month prior and sent back. Let’s just say that I should have listened to my common-“Sense” and not went with a TV, because of a $60 discount.Anyway, I would buy this TV again.You should too. You will get your money’s worth.
