    Great Quality
Very good picture and video quality. Easy to install and connect to existing doorbell. We have not noticed any lag time. Design is really nice. I prefer the color to the original silver. Very easy to use. Highly recommend. Price is very affordable.

Install an eyeball on the front of your house
This is an attractive and very functional doorbell. It’s also a very good security addition to any home. We paid for a year of recording service so that if anyone walks up to our door they get their picture taken and their actions are recorded on Amazon’s cloud service that you can access through their Ring application on your smart phone. It’s very clever and keeps people honest, or else it provides video for law enforcement if they aren’t. I had to buy a wedge kit for $20 to correct the slant of my siding. Looks professionally installed now. I wired it to the existing mechanical door bell wiring.

    Great security cameras
I love these ring cameras! We were looking for some security cameras for our property and these checked all the boxes. They are affordable, easy to install and very easy to setup. I love that you can add more cameras as you go depending on what you need at the time. They pick up well and have a very good picture quality. I liken that I can save or delete videos directly from my phone. I highly recommend these!

Works great, but a few small issues
Update:I was able to disconnect from the solar charger. I brought it in and charged via usb until fully charged. I still had connectivity issues so I restarted the device prompting a new wifi credentials input. Afterwards I was able to see the battery power at full and could access the device again. It’s working again and I suppose if that’s the only issue in 3 months with a solution to restart, it’s not a big deal.Original:I bought this a few months ago along with the solar charger. The solar charger for it worked great. Clear picture and timely notifications. The camera is in a spot that gets direct sun for about half the day. It was able to maintain a full charge for a few months in winter with no issues. The settings are easy to adjust so you don’t drain your battery. The motion detection works moderately well. Sometimes it won’t pick up people delivering things.Unfortunately, the battery finally started to drain. I changed the settings so that it would require almost no power with the intent that it would charge in the sun. No luck. I took it off the solar mount to charge it by usb cable. The ring lights up indicating it’s charging, but the battery level never increases. It worked great at first, but then fizzled out. Definitely sucks because it was awesome while it worked. It might be best to just go with the hardwired version. If I get it working again, I’ll update my review.

    Great Camera
My husband is one that researches everything before purchasing and he did that as well for this purchase. The quality and size are excellent, easy to install, and connectivity was a breeze (even for me). The camera provides a wide, clear, crisp view of the porch with a great picture. The app is user friendly and no delay with motion sensor and doorbell notifications. I was able to purchase this during Prime Day, which was a great deal and made all happy. Highly recommend this product.

    Peace of mind
Exactly as I expected! Works very well, easy to put on my door and the perfect size. Quality is spot on and great peace of mind knowing who is at my door in this crazy world. Would highly recommend and the price point is perfect.

Awesome Upgrade – Super Clear Video and Easy to Use!
Really happy with this new Ring Battery Doorbell (2024 version)! The head-to-toe video is a big plus, I can see everything from a visitor’s face to packages on the ground. It makes me feel a lot more secure.Setup was a breeze, I didn’t need any tools or wiring. The battery charged quickly, and I had it up and running in about 20 minutes. The satin nickel finish looks really nice and gives my door a sleek, modern touch. The video quality is sharp, even at night, and the two-way talk feature works great and is super clear sound both ways. I like that I can adjust the motion settings to avoid alerts from cars driving by, which helps cut down on unnecessary notifications.Overall, this doorbell is a great upgrade. If you want something easy to install with great features and solid performance, this one’s definitely worth it!

Great unit with a decent picture and plenty of setting adjustments to make it right for you. I do prefer the removable battery model, which is so convenient to recharge. I keep a second battery charged so there is virtually no down time and it’s a two minute job to change. As well. with a Ring solar charger, the battery changes only happen in winter for me as the sun is not on the doorbell then.I have a Basic subscription for the doorbell but I think the fact that if I wanted to add a home camera to the system I’d have to pay 3 times the cost for a Ring Plus subscription is simply outrageous. I’ve just got some TP-Link Tapo internal cameras instead, which I can view live and they have SD card for recording.

  10. Vin

Recently purchased the Ring Camera, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The build quality is excellent, and the camera provides a clear, crisp view of the doorstep. Installation was a breeze — within minutes, I had it set up and paired with my phone. The calling bell feature is especially useful, as it allows me to see who is at the door and have a live conversation with them, even when I’m not home. It’s a game-changer for convenience and security as we can also setup the range/area for detection and eliminated unnecessary false warnings.Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly smart doorbell camera!

    Excellent.

  12. Blu

Great doorbell, great picture quality with a decent view of the front door. App is user friendly. No delay with motion sensor/doorbell notifications. Battery lasted a couple of months before recharge was required. Only downfall is the ongoing paid subscription, no option for an SD card.

  13. Jiajarka Sampson

I have a security system, but having this doorbell has given the extra comfort of security when home. I love being able to be alerted when movement is detected near the door. Doublely love the fact that i can see who it is and record it. Tripley love that i can talk thru it now matter where I am. Easy to install and use, Highly recommend
