   Incredible value for amazing backyard movie nights
   I’ve been wanting a projector for outdoor movie nights and casual indoor viewing for ages, but the prices of high-end models always scared me away. After doing some research, I decided to take a chance on the TMY mini projector, and I am absolutely thrilled! This little powerhouse has exceeded all my expectations for its incredibly affordable price.Setting it up was a breeze. Straight out of the box, I had it connected to my streaming stick via HDMI and projecting onto the included screen within minutes. The picture quality, especially in a dark environment, is shockingly good. For a projector in this price range, the 1080P support delivers a clear, vibrant image that’s perfect for watching movies, sports, or even playing casual video games. We’ve used it on a 100-inch screen, and the image fills the space beautifully.The portability is a huge plus. It’s so compact and lightweight that I can easily move it from the living room to the backyard without any fuss. The built-in speaker is decent for casual listening, but I connect it to a Bluetooth speaker for a truly immersive cinematic experience, which is simple to do.Of course, it’s not a $1000 projector, and it won’t perform miracles in a brightly lit room – you really need a dark setting to appreciate its full potential. But if you’re looking for an ultra-affordable, easy-to-use mini projector for fun movie nights, camping trips, or even just as a secondary display, the TMY is an absolute gem. It’s brought so much joy and entertainment to my home, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Truly a 5-star experience for the value!

   A worthy purchace
   Everything works great solid performance all around. The only thing that you’re gonna notice is that the picture is not super bright. It’s more on the dim side. The  hook up Wi-Fi connection, focusing, and the audio straight out of the projector are all very very good. Also, the picture quality is pretty nice and of course, changing the size of the picture is good. I was able to hook up to external speakers using Bluetooth and that was smooth. So keep in mind this projector is good also for many other uses such as camping or anywhere you may go and the fact that all you need to do is hook it up to Wi-Fi to catch a signal and watch YouTube or Netflix, etc is just great. You could even do it remotely by tethering from your phone as a hotspot if you’re in the middle of nowhere, but have a signal.

   Bang for your buck with one con
   Great projector for the price especially when it’s on sale. Once you figure out the right distance to place the projector from your wall/screen the picture is pretty clear. Great for movie night and for setting the mood during the holidays. I connect it to an external speaker for better sound quality. The only con, for me, is the noise the projector makes. It’s can get pretty loud and heats up by the end of a two hour movie. It’s pretty easy to use, the remote works well and it’s easy to set up too.

   Value for Money Cannot be Beaten
   The value for the money you’re spending on this projector make it very difficult to criticize. Easily connects to a Bluetooth speaker, the remote is responsive, clarity is as expected, and brightness is surprisingly good. The fan isn’t too loud in my opinion, but others seem to think so. At this price point, I am pleasantly surprised with the performance of this projector and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid quality projector for a budget price.

   Powerhouse in a small package
   I like these small projectors to use for multiple purposes, particularly for holiday animation. I was very impressed with this projector straight out of the box. It was well packaged for transport inside of a Styrofoam box then a cardboards box. I really like the snap-on lens cap. That is something I haven’t seen before with the smaller projectors. Included is a stretchable, washable screen 80” screen (approx. 70” x 40”), HDMI to HDMI cable approx. 5-foot, power cord, lens cleaning kit, remote control (takes 2 AAA batteries). The unit powered right up to the home screen which is colorful and easy to navigate. I didn’t have any AAA batteries handy, so I used the buttons on top of the unit. A quick section of Movie then the source button (USB, HDMI, Mini SD card) and we were running. The projection is good for about 16 feet with no issues. Another feature I haven’t seen at this level is the Keystone Correction to correct the screen distortion of an unlevel projector. The unit ran very quietly, and the audio quality was good. One may want to add a larger speaker for better quality and there is an option to Bluetooth to a speaker. I did my test in a normal lit room at night and was impressed with the video quality displayed on the wall, quietness of the unit itself and ease of set-up. Overall, I’m very pleased with this little guy. It won’t replace a big expensive projector for throw distance, but at this price point and with the features and quality of the unit, you can’t go wrong. As an added test, I used a Lightning-to-HDMI adapter to my iPad, it worked with no issues. However, the adapter itself is limited and will not transmit content from most of the paid streaming services due to HDCP. Next, I’m going to try adding a Roku USB and playing my paid streaming content through the projector. With a carrying case and a USB Roku stick this would be a fantastic travel projector to take on vacation or trips. Small, lightweight and portable.
