   Great for coins
   This was just what I was looking for. Great price. Excellent magnification. Lights work very well and it’s very well made. I like the metallic base it’s very sturdy and I use it for coins so it’s very comfortable. Setup was a breeze. The larger screen is helpful … worth the extra money to step up from the 4.3” imo. So far very happy

   Wow! It works, it’s simple, and it’s effective. The picture quality is clear, crisp, and makes small parts look HUUUUGE! Manual is concise and understandable. Solid base and balance overall.

   Perfect, except the gooseneck lights.
   We have a 7 year old name brand scope at work for inspecting composite materials defects. We paid over $200 for it, and it has the same sensor resolution.l, but no screen. The build quality isn’t as good as the work model, but it doesn’t need to be. Primary build material seems to be a zinc alloy, which is good enough.2mp doesn’t sound like much these days, but for inspecting solder joints, composites, surface prep, etc, it’s far better than you’d expect.Overall it’s very well designed to cut all the right corners without sacrificing what matters, functionality.My only complaint is the gooseneck lights. They’re so floppy that they won’t stay in place. I’m hoping to find a way to mod them. I’ll probably design and 3d print some sleeves and link the design here.Overall, i am very happy with my choice. It’s a great valet for the money.

   Great digital microscope. Exceeded expectations.
   I purchased this digital microscope for my university lectures where I am simultaneously teaching students in class and via Zoom. The USB function is a real plus. I was able to plug this in, and during a Zoom meeting, switch from my webcam to the microscope with no problem. This allowed students in class to watch what I was doing on the projection screen while students at home could watch on their computer screens, all with excellent resolution. The ability to take pictures or video with the microscope at the click of a button is a real added bonus.The microscope is very impressive for the price. It is relatively small and easy to pack and carry in the original box. I can set it up or take it down in about 2 minutes. The additional side lighting helps to produce shadows or provide illumination to your very tiny subject matter. Yesterday, I was teaching about the “placoid scales” of sharks. These scales are more like teeth than fish scales. Although you can readily feel them on shark skin, you cannot see them with the naked eye. This microscope showed them in far better detail than I had hoped.The 7″ screen is like a very large cell phone or a small tablet. This is plenty big enough for soldering circuits, grading coins, etc. If you want it big, you can always project it onto a 100″ screen (which is what I do in class). The digital functions of the microscope (lighting levels, exposure compensation, timer, camera functions, etc.) can be controlled with buttons on the screen or the wired remote.The rechargeable 18650 rechargeable battery is fairly common. While you can plug your microscope into a USB block to charge, I actually have a dozen of these batteries and external charger for my SCUBA lights. The battery lasts for about 3 hours and (if the battery ever dies) you can pick up a few extras on Amazon for relatively little money.Bottom line, although this may not be laboratory grade equipment, it does produce similar results and at a fraction of the cost. It does feel a bit like a toy, but it’s hard to argue with the results. I’m far more impressed with this unit than I hoped. Time will tell how durable it is, but for now, I’m super happy I purchased the TOMLOV.Pictures included are of shark skin scales and close ups of a $1 bill. The last photo is the closest/most magnification I could get and still be able to focus. These are photos directly from the microscope.

   Great quality for the right price
   I am pleasantly surprised. The product is not all metal, but the price would not match this assumption. However, the base and LCD+Microscope is solidly built. The connection to the computer as a “camera” is simple. The setup was intuitive (in retrospect, the guide would have been too). I’m able to see up-close my electronics without edge blur. This is not the top-notch product in the category, you will need to manually turn knobs to focus and change depth, but that is small when compared to the true value being a microscope. The base does not have holes or clips for samples/boards, but it’s small enough the base can next to another pair of helping hands or clips.

Cet outil s’avère extrêmement utile pour l’étude et le nettoyage minutieux de mes découvertes, telles que des pièces de monnaie, entre autres.Grâce à son écran intégré et à sa connectivité avec un ordinateur, le microscope me permet de ne manquer aucun détail, ce qui serait impossible avec une simple loupe. De plus, sa capacité à prendre des photos et des vidéos de qualité exceptionnelle est un véritable atout.Je recommande vivement le microscope numérique TOMLOV DM9 à tous les passionnés de prospection, car il améliore considérablement la précision et la qualité de l’analyse de leurs découvertes.

   I purchased this as an upgrade to my Kkmoon 4.5″ digital microscope. As I am now doing more and more SMD soldering, I wanted a larger screen. Also, the keypad on the TOMLOV, which allows the easy taking of photos/videos, is really useful to me, as I like to keep photographic records of repairs that I have done. What I wasn’t expecting was the added image clarity I now get due to the anti-reflection cover. Viewing a PCB I had previously worked on with the cover installed was a HUGE difference. Super clear. Even when I added flux, which usually increases glare. I am very pleased with my purchase. All I need now is a longer USB charger lead than the one supplied to power the unit for long soldering sessions.
