Genius Product, Ordered Another!
This is an exceptional product and I can’t believe I’m just now finding something like this. Super easy to just screw this camera bulb into a bulb socket and you’re done. No drilling/mounting, don’t have to worry about charging the battery, etc. The camera quality is excellent and wide angle. I paired this with indoor cameras as well and pay $12.99/mo for unlimited camera cloud storage. The app has many customizable features and you can see all your cameras live on one screen. I like how I can set my location sharing so that the system automatically arms when I’m gone and will set off a loud siren on all cameras if a person is detected when I’m away. The clips are also uploaded immediately which is reassuring if someone were to just take the camera during a burglary. The night vision is also superb, with the light off. There is also a small blue indicator light that changes to red when the camera starts recording. Appreciate the included sticker to place on the light switch to remind me not to turn the switch off. I like it so much I ordered another one for my front porch. I’d also like to add I wasn’t asked to or incentivized to write this review, I just really like this product that much!

Cam and bulb are great! Motion Detection feature a total flaw.
First, let me say the video and audio from this camera is fantastic! LOVE the bulb feature! Automatically turns the light on at sunset and off at sunrise, like I would do manually with the switch as part of my normal routine. I only have the bulb brightness set at 75% and it is more than bright enough. The build quality seems solid, so I think it will hold up well.On the down side…the motion detection zone is a gimmick thrown in to make you think you are getting a feature. I blocked out 95% of the viewing area as a test…had the only open spot on the concrete in a shadow. Kept getting motion alerts, but the camera had no idea what to tag as the motion source. SHUT MOTION DETECTION OFF, and still got an alert. Seems to be an issue across Wyze cams, because my two Pan Cams in the house have the same issue. So, just turn notifications off and go on about your way and review motion snapshots occasionally. I have used motion detection zones on wired security cameras at our church and it works almost flawlessly. The Wyze cams? Motion Detection Zone is just a total flaw.Pros:BRIGHT light bulbExcellent audio and video day and night, even with sun glareEasy installGreat build qualityEasy to connectThoughtful of them to put the sticker in the box to put above the light switch that should not be turned offCons:The motion detection zones does not work…on ANY of my 3 Wyze cams….not like I know it should from experience wih other security cameras.You can not pan and tilt the Bulb Cam from the app.If it weren’t for the motion detection issue, this would be 5 stars all day long!Motion detection aside, I DO recommend the Wyze cams! You get a LOT of bang for your buck!
