Great product
This item solves multiple problems. It holds the hot iron while using, organizes all of the tools need for soldering in one place, has a relatively small footprint and provides “extra hands” to help hold small projects. The iron heats to the melting point quickly and has worked well so far. I like the sponge pad for cleaning the iron tip. Didn’t use the solder spool attachment but I like the tweezers and the desoldering tool that comes with it. Great product.

Surprisingly Easy to Use for a Complete Beginner!
I bought this soldering kit having literally no experience with soldering before. My goal was pretty specific: I wanted to try and fix some old Game Boy cartridges that had stopped working.The iron itself was straightforward to figure out. I really liked the temperature dial, it heated up super fast, so I wasn’t waiting around forever. Following some guides I found on YouTube, I was actually able to successfully swap out the batteries on a couple of my games and fix a speaker on my Gameboy Color. For someone who’s never done this, getting it to work felt like a huge win, and this kit had most of the core tools I needed to get the job done.My only small complaints are about a couple of things not included. It would have been really convenient if a basic multimeter came with it, just to check voltages and confirm connections, especially when learning. I ended up buying one separately, which wasn’t a huge deal. Also, it came with a neat little syringe applicator, which I assume is for liquid flux, but there wasn’t any actual liquid flux in the kit. Again, not a dealbreaker, but something I’ll have to pick up if I need it for future projects.Pros:Very user-friendly, great for beginners.Temperature control is easy to use and heats up quickly.Contained the necessary tools to complete my initial project (Game Boy game battery & GBC speaker swap).Good value for getting started with soldering.Cons:Does not include a multimeterComes with a syringe for liquid flux, but doesn’t include the flux itself.

Great little soldering iron for basic stuff
Great little soldering iron. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the heating speed and indicator. There’s a tiny LED, the “.” in the display, which flickers telling you it’s heating or ready depending on how fast it’s flickering. Kind of simplistic, I with there was a nicer “heating” or “Ready” indicator. Getting the initial heat to tin the tip was a learning experience, but after that it worked fine.

Oh so THIS is what soldering is supposed to be like!
As an amateur in the process of teaching myself, I thought *I* was the problem when trying to solder header pins to microcontroller chips with my cheap $20 kit. Just this one moderate upgrade has opened up a world of possibilities for my project…it’s like night and day! This is a MUCH better starter kit than anything you can find for a lower price.

The item was as described and better. The parts were solid and did not feel cheap. For the price there isn’t a batter choice for the person looking to get excellent work out of solder kit and not take a big hit on their bank account. Functionality is what you’d expect given the correct solder. Cleaning of it is a breeze. The burn rate of course is adjustable so there isn’t any guessing if you know what you’re doing. Bottom line is it’s worth the value for your money. The variety of tips provided may not be for everyone but they give you enough to start and room to add more of your own selection.

This is an engineering marvel!
I have had many old-school soldering irons and stations. This one is a new experience for me. Comes with many interchangeable tips and tools (solder and solder spool, precision tweezers, desolder tool, and assist clamps). Low price, yet everything is high-quality. Tweezers and clamps are tight and align perfectly. Tips fit over a small, high-density element that heats really fast! I mean, like 20 seconds. Set the temperature, and watch the display count up to the operating temperature. I can’t take my eyes off the progress!!

Buy a Weller
I bought this unit to learn how to solder. After watching YouTube tutorials for a couple of hours I figured it would be pretty easy to solder some XT60 connectors to wires. I spent about 2 hours messing with this machine and getting horrible results. The solder provided is very low quality, and the soldering iron is about the same. The machine would barely melt the solder at any temperature setting, and when it did the solder just clumped up and fell off. I bought a higher quality solder to see if that made a difference, but it was minimal. Another hour or two wasted, then more YouTube videos to see what I was doing wrong. Finally, I broke down and bought a new Weller soldering iron from Home Depot. The difference in ease of use was astonishing. Within 10 minutes I had easily soldered my first XT60 connectors. The job went from impossible to extremely easy. Maybe I had a defective unit, but it doesn’t matter. It’s in the trash and I am happy with my Weller machine.

Om first use itself, poor build quality is evident in all aspects. LED display never tells correct temperature. Knob is fiddly. Helping hands are useless. The holder for solder wire wobbles.NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS GOOD! I was misled by reviews.Takes forever to reach soldering temperature. Is short, GARBAGE. I have borrowed a friends soldering iron that cost him one tenth.On top of that, Why is Amazon selling 120 Volts products in India WITHOUT declaring this upfront!!! This means shelling out THOUSANDS for a good voltage converter on top of this garbage product. WHY???
