Title: It’s a good phone
Review: It’s a great phone for the price and the features you get are great. It has a headphone jack! And SD card expansion which are becoming more rare as we go forward and regress by removing things instead of adding and improving. The screen is 120hz and is very easy on the eyes, the colors are pleasing to look at with the anti glare screen. The camera is amazing on this phone and has pretty good filters to play with if you are into that stuff including the paper filters. It does slow motion video as well. Clearly the main feature is the E paper like display(it’s an lcd not an e-ink) it has a button on the side to put it in the e paper mode and it’s very good for when you want to read or general use in color e paper mode

Title: Good budget Phone! Get’s the job done at a 1/4 of the cost of other phones.
Review: I am enjoying my new phone. I had the TCL 10L, this TCL 60XE NXTPAPER 5G definitely feels like an upgrade. A few things that I wish were better…The phone ring volume isn’t very loud. There is distortion when on a call, both on the earpiece & on speaker phone. The camera is OK. Low light is not good at all for a good picture, mainly when taking a “selfie”, from my experience.I wish it would charge faster than it does, however it isn’t horrible.I didn’t think I would like the fingerprint scan button, but I’m finding that I like it better than the 10L.I like the size of the phone.I like that it has a 256GB storage size. (on the model I have)The speaker volume for playing videos is plenty loud.Over all, I would recommend this phone. For the price, it does everything I need it to do + some.I’ve added 3 photos, with good lighting, less lighting & even less lighting…. Enjoy LOL! :DI would give it 5 stars, but for the distorted audio while on phone calls.

Title: WOW – surprised
Review: LOVE this phone! I was stuck in between going to and from an iPhone 13 pro max and a flip phone. I wanted to decrease my screen time and I think I’ve found the perfect balance.First off, the screen: gimmick or not, this Nxtpaper technology is great – I don’t have any glare on the screen when I go outside and there’s something different between this and just the monochrome setting on my iPhone. I’ve noticed less eye fatigue and have been able to read for long periods of time on this phone than I was able to on my iPhone or iPad.My specific use has the phone on MAX INK mode for the majority of the time and I’m finding myself charging this every couple days. I love that I don’t get any notifications while in Max ink mode, but if I still need to check my Ring camera, I can do so without any of the distractions. Yes, you can configure your current smart phone to get rid of any notifications. Yes, you can delete any and all mindless apps on your normal smartphone. But being able to change the phone into a dumbphone with a switch of the button is so much easier. For $200, this phone is fantastic without breaking the bank and is a great value for what you’re paying.Yes, the screen’s colors are muted and you don’t get the same color depth as you would, however, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. It handles games like Stardew Valley well and other similar styled Android games. As for durability, I haven’t dropped it yet but, with no screen protector, being chucked into my purse, it’s doing really well. No scratches on the screen yet.Overall, fantastic phone for what I’m using it for.

Title: Plain simple phone parts work, the fancy TCL extras ALL SUCK!!!!!
Review: Dear TCL Team,I’m writing to let you know how disappointed I’ve been with the TCL phone I purchased. To be clear, I really wanted to like this phone — and after a few updates and some patience, it did settle down somewhat. But it’s still got serious issues, and it’s driving me up the wall. I need a phone that just works. That’s it. Not one overloaded with half-functioning gimmicks.Let me be specific:The screen responsiveness is terrible, especially around the edges. That side button that triggers the “reading mode” or “e-paper” display? Completely useless to me. Worse, the case that’s supposedly made for this model doesn’t have a cutout for it, making it nearly impossible to use or even slide. The phone came with features I never asked for — like that black-and-white “Kindle” mode. I don’t read newspapers on my phone. I just want to be able to use it normally. At first, apps were glitchy, unresponsive, or disappeared entirely when toggling. That’s improved, but it shook my confidence. The phone looked great on paper, but not all of the “features” actually function. That’s incredibly frustrating. What I need is simple:A normal, flat, responsive touchscreenNo side sliders, no smart paper nonsense, no “eye-comfort switch” gimmicksSolid hardware that doesn’t get in its own wayI used to have an LG. Everything worked. Every feature did what it was supposed to. Since LG left the phone market, everything I’ve tried — including this — has come up short. Please take this as honest feedback from someone who wants to support your brand. But I need a phone that functions as a phone first and foremost — not a tech experiment.

Title: Phenomenal phone at this price point
Review: I feel the need to write a review because this phone is truly amazing. Full disclosure – I will likely return this phone, but only because I need a more powerful phone and camera for my work as a handyman. That being said, especially for the price, this phone is incredible. Battery life is excellent (especially in e-ink mode), screen is great, and overall functionality is good enough for most people that don’t need a flagship phone. Phone has headphone jack, expansion slot, sim tray, face ID AND fingerprint ID, and decent camera. If I wasn’t a power user (for work), I’d have no hesitation in keeping this phone. At this price point, it’s the best phone I’ve tried to date. It hurts my heart to have to return it lol
