Title: Works pretty well, be careful with your vents
Review: It is a decent magnet, but without anything additional my phone slides down after my attempt to attach it. I have tried both with my clear “magnetic” case and without. The phone seems to be too heavy for this as it slowly slides down. I checked it with a magnetic viewing film and it appears to have 6 decent magnets so it should work with a lighter phone. By chance, my tablet was nearby when I was checking things out and while it is much bigger and heavier, this mount could hold it without problem even without any additional metal plates! (so if you have adhesion issues, it may be your phone and not the mount)There are some included metal plates that you can slide into your phone case. If you use them it keeps your phone in place VERY WELL. The downside is that you could be blocking wireless charging if you are not careful. The instructions have you put the plate at the bottom of your case, and when you do, wireless charging is now accessible, but it still looks like the plate may be blocking a part of the coil. Something to keep an eye out for, the charging may be less effective, but I don’t really know how to test that. I would check to see if your phone or charger gets hot. If you make a mistake when placing the plate, the adhesive on those stickers is VERY STRONG! Put them on the case, NOT the phone! If you can get something under an edge, you can remove a plate, and there is enough stick left to try a new spot.Mounting on the vent is pretty easy and mostly painless. I swore off vent mounts when the first time I tried broke the vent before I could get it on. But that was many years and a couple of cars ago. Now I was ready to try again (my car does not seem to like dash mounts) and was quite pleasantly surprised. It does go on reasonably easily, but I did hear a worrying pop when tightening things down. Turns out a part of my vent was dislodged and it appears I was able to click it back into place… (fingers crossed)So yeah, quite effective, but not perfect. I like it and would recommend it for use with the metal plate in the case, but there is some trade-off. And there is the messing with your vents and possibly damaging them, to deal with.My pictures show the magnetic filed for this mount. Pretty decent magnets!

Title: Easy to Install, Magnets work Really Well….Very Economical
Review: Been needing to get a phone holder for my car for quite a while.Found this one and decided to give it a try. I like how easy it is to attach to the vent. Basically, the little arm that grabs the vent can be extended and retracted super easily with a knob twist. That makes it super easy to attach or detach.Putting it together was easy. The instructions were pretty clear.What I really like about this item is that the magnets are really strong. I was able to place a magnet on the inside of my phone case and it works great. The phone attaches well to the magnetized holder, yet removing is easy too.I placed the magnet near the bottom of the phone case so as not to interfere with Qi charging. The Qi charger still works find.This item comes with 4 different magnets so you can use them with a number of different phones or devices as needed.The price on this too is super cheap, in my opinion. It works really well and I would have paid more than list price for this item. To me, it’s a real bargain.

Review: Hatte bislang ein ähnliches Produkt allerdings ohne dem zusätzlichen Klemmhaken und bin sowas von begeistert.Das ganze ist ab Werk sicher in einem bedruckten Karton verpackt und kam auch unbeschädigt bei mir an.Die ” volport Magnetische Handyhalterung für Lüftungsschlitze im Auto: [Starker Magnet-Clip-Haken] Lüftungsschlitz-Halterung für iPhone 15/14/13/12 Pro Max Plus Samsung S24 Ultra S24+ alle Handys Tablets ” ist schnell am Lüftungsschlitz montiert und das Handy ist dank einer Magnethalterung mit einer Hand schnell an- und wieder abnehmbar. Das Handy lässt sich auch schnell drehen um z.B an Schaltelemente wie welche am Autoradio zu kommen.Die Metall-platten lassen sich je nach Handy auch wunschgemäß installieren. Der Magnet ist sogar so stark das ich meine Platte direkt aufs Handy geklebt habe und mein Case noch darüber. Sieht besser aus und habe lediglich eine kaum spürbare Wölbung am Case.Allerdings hat man wie bei anderen Handyhalterungen keinen/ bzw. sehr erschwerten Zugriff auf die Rückseite des Handys um z.B zur Entsperrung, den Fingerabdrucks-Sensor zu nutzen. Zu erwähnen ist auch das unter Umständen die Windaustoß Richtung des Lüfters (in dem die Halterung fixiert wurde) nicht mehr positionierbar ist.Schlicht, einfach, günstig, effektiv, und sehr sehr gut.

Review: Edit: After the original review which I received the product for free, I actually paid and purchased a second one for the other car. I really like this phone mount a lot. I’m able to use my air vents and it is extremely stable holding the smartphone while driving. Has not fallen off at all.The only issue may be your phone case. I have a very expensive three layer otterbox case that I can insert the metal plate between the cover without using the 3M sticker back. My husband can’t do that with his phone case and would have to use the 3M sticker back to attach (not ideal because it kind of ruins the look of your case). Just something to consider and it is by far the best car mount for a phone in my opinion as long as you can get the metal plate attached to your phone.———————————–The best phone car mounts are ones that use the vents. However, they always block the air coming out of the vents and something I’ve lived with over the years.This one is a superior phone car mount in my opinion. It uses a ‘hook’ to catch the vent from behind and you tighten a nut to hold that in place. The magnetic portion is extremely strong and can pivot in various directions. I found for myself, this mount being placed on the passenger side vent was the best option visually versus the driver side and because I was able to pivot the arm to face me and not block my infotainment screen in the car. It does not block the ability to use the vents or close the vents either which what my old car mount did.I’m going to admit, this is definitely an upgrade from my old phone mount.I recommend putting the metal piece under your phone case without the need of peeling the 3M sticker. I did that for our Otterbox and it works fine. They give you enough extra metal sheets to allow an extra phone or two to also use the car mount.

Review: Mein Partner wünschte sich endlich mal eine Halterung die wirklich hält und keine Probleme macht.
